i’m going to go broke… staying off campus is chugging down more money than i expected… i spend alot more on transport… i have to spend practically the whole day in sch… which means i have to eat out the entire day…. also… there’s also alot of other expenses draining out my $$$ supply… there is a demand there is a supply… how come i dun see it applied when it comes to cash?
i DEMAND money but yet i dun see any SUPPLY! oh well.. life’s just like that…. and because i’m very potentially broke, i shall be eating at home quite abit… not too bad a thought considering i need to learn how to cook sooner or later… how well it tastes is another story altogether.

these 2 days, hueyshan and i have been doing quite a bit of “ah-sam” shopping… buying groceries, pots.. pans… ladles…. etc…. it’s like we’re stocking up the fridge in case of a famine! yesterday we cooked kangkung wif chillies and garlic… ABC soup (potatoes, carrots, corn, onions, pepper, chicken).. i drank like 3 bowls of soup… half the plate of veggie… i love veggie…. but i love meat more… so full by da time i finished dinner…

today, i went to IMM wif paro and hueyshan… went to that Daiso place that sells everything at 2 bucks…. then went to Giant to do guess what?? MORE GROCERY SHOPPING! (that’s it! i know i won’t starve!) i just got some things like maggi, bbq seasoning and belacan… i must say… giant sure has a wider variety than other supermarkets… anyway… couldn’t find nice veggie there so i stopped at Gek Poh to buy veggie…

first week of sch is nearly up…. the first day was awfully difficult… for the first time in 3 months i had to wake up at 7am to go for my 8.30am lecture… this sem i’m really really sueh…. i have alot of 8.30am classes…. in fact… EVERYDAY! torture! luckily for me… this first 2 weeks some tutorials and labs haven’t started yet… well… despite all that… it’s good to be back in sch… was beginning to think i was going to rot away…

yesterday was quite an interesting day… a public holiday.. Singapore’s National Day… Happy Birthday Singapore! although it was a holiday… i had to wake up just as early coz i had a dental appointment in JB at 10.30am… dragged paro along wif me… this time the dental appointment was BAD! now my whole mouth is aching… can’t eat really solid food… good for me that it didn’t start till after i finished the lovely nasi kandar outside city square…. why dun they have nicer mamak stalls in sg?

anyway… this year i got to go for the National Day Parade(NDP)… the actual one… not the preview… i’ve been to 2 previews ever since i’ve been in sg once in JC1 wif MOE… and another time wif my aunt… this time… Fred… my landlord (feels wierd to call a fellow year 2 “landlord”) anyway…he got tics… and last min, rachel din wanna go.. the poor girl has been down wif flu for the past 3 days… so in the end paro, huey shan(my new roommate), fred and i went…. so much for a housemate outing =P…NDP was nice… as usual.. the favourite part of it all… the spectacular fireworks… we were sitting in the yellow block which so happened to be right under the fireworks, so we were supplied wif umbrellas to protect our hair fr catching fire… hahaha…. nah… dun think it will catch fire… went to lau pa sat for dinner… satay and stingray… which now i quite regret coz i got this bad bad sore throat rite now… a combination of too much yelling, too much fried food and rachel’s germs. i need pei pa kou….
