Lol. Not literally, but I just got my new Sony VAIO VGN-CR35G in Pure White yesterday afternoon. I wasn’t really feeling that excited as I had been down with flu and running a fever the past 3 days! Going all the way to Funan IT Mall was just too taxing on my lethargic body. But oh well, all was worth it when I found out that the The Big Brands IT Fair @ Funan (Harvey Norman) was giving out quite alot of freebies. Got my laptop for the same price of $1999 and here’s the freebies I snagged:
- A free upgrade to 3GB RAM worth $99
- A 2GB Toshiba thumbdrive worth $49
- Internet security software worth $89
- A cleaning kit worth $12.90
- A Sony VAIO carrying case by Targus worth $79
- 40 free 4R digital prints worth $14
- A matching mouse and carrying pouch(solid one man!) worth $89 and $99 respectively, for a total of $69
On top of that, I got a go at the lucky draw and picked out a free Harvey Norman Photo Happy membership worth $19.95. With this card, I get 30% off all digital prints and Photo Centre Services. Yaye… printing photos will not be so expensive ever again.
I already anticipated all the little freebies but the upgrade to 3GB RAM was a plus. Sony laptops are rarely on promotion.
So, good deal, yes?
