whoa… today was a little more happening than da past few days… when i say happening… i dun mean happening - fun, but more like happening in a bad way… there was a fire in my block today… din really realise it though… i just noticed a slight burning smell…. i just assumed it was just someone burning leaves (now i come to think of it… not very possible… coz dat’s open burning… and i dun think the condone open burning in NTU grounds) or sumone just burnt their dinner… din realise dat it was actually a room diagonally one level below mine dat was one fire until paro peeked out of our room window and saw fire extinguishers, campus security, hall officers and firemen outside dat room…. so paro and i, being super kaypoh as usual, went over to da other side of our floor to get a better view of wat was going on… well da fire was contained within dat room… thank goodness, coz dat room is actually very near my room…
wat i’m totally surprised is dat there was no fire alarm…. hmmm…. this is a lil freaky… haha… i remember the uncountable times da fire alarm went of in oldham hall.. sum in da morning, sum in da afternoon, sum in da evening…. and even sum in da middle of da nite! we all were really annoyed wif all deafening false alarms… even had this fire drill dat most of us were not very happy about coz i think it was near our exams… haha… this just reminds me of all da fun times we had in oldham hall.. hahaha…. i think they really spoilt us… haha… and yet we complained like nobody’s business… oh well… anyway.. back to da burnt room in my hall, nobody seemed to be hurt… it was quite a scene to see ppl snapping pictures, firemen walking in and out of da room… me and paro snooping around to spy on da fire engines and all… hahahhaa… truly kaypoh ppl we are… hahaha…
anyway… itchy shutterbug i am, i couldn’t resist snapping a pic of da fire engine…. hahah… makes me look like sumone who’s never seen a fire engine in my life! hahaha… anyway… here it is….
