this sem… i wanted to take this module called 3d modelling… but sumhow… becoz of da stupid balloting system, i din get it… i ended up wif my 3rd choice, aesthetics and creative process in the moving images…. not a bad choice i guess… juz more theoretical compared to 3d modelling…. well… after attending 2 lectures… i actually find it quite fun and interesting… we get to watch movie clips… mostly fr The Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa and The Lord of The Rings by Peter Jackson….hahah.. it’s really a nice change to hear your lecturer say: “Your homework for this week is to watch LOTR!” *smiles*… muahahaahahahaha!!!! I don’t think u’ll believe me if i told u dat i’ve never really watched the LOTR trilogy before…. well… i did watch The Return Of The King wif a bunch of MYFers back home in AS once…. but i was rather lost as i din watch da first two movies…
now… i dun have a choice… i have to watch it… and how wonderful is it to find out dat da media resource library in NTU does not allow undergrads to borrow out da dvds… *bish bish bish* …. so.. no choice but to ask my oh-so-ever-useful postgrad fren, sam to borrow it for me… juz bribe him wif chocolates and he’ll probably do anything… hahah…. *kidding*
well.. anyway… i watched The Fellowship of the Ring today… i so need my pillow… chopping of heads, stabbing swords and daggers, shooting arrows, oozing blood and i-dunno-what gooey subtance all over the Uruk Hais is certainly not a very nice scene..in fact it’s rather gross… though i must admit that the special effects used in the movie is amazing… there were some really touching parts of the movie too… Boromir… haih… greed or no greed, he did fight to his death to protect Merry and Pippin… Sam running (or should i say wading???) after Frodo… “I made a promise. Don’t you leave him Samwise Gamgee. And I don’t mean to”… ever found a friend so loyal? nvm…. only softies like me will probably cry… hahahahaha….
tml.. i’ll be watching The Two Towers… i only got 3 days to watch… loan period is only 3 days… unless i get sam to renew it… nvm la… i try to finish as much as i can… renewing last resort…. dowan to kacau ppl all da time…. maybe die die i will buy da dvd when i’m back in msia….. here 32 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!! i will pokkai!
k lah… it’s getting really late…past 2am liao… tml i got an 8.30am lecture… *peng peng peng*… i hate mondays, wednesdays and fridays… must wake up so early…goodnite!
